10 til 6: Shibuya, Tokyo

Out on Sunday doing a photowalk with two clients in from the States. We spent a little while in Shibuya, shooting around the Hachiko area.

Anyone who knows this spot will know how tricky it is, on a busy Sunday, to get any sort of distance between yourself and this train carriage without loads of people being in the way.

This is straight out of the camera. I wanted to leave the guy on the right in the shot as I think how he is masking the girl on the far right is kind of cool.

  1. simply wonderful shot this strong tone is very cool, interesting timing too, great

  2. Minku

Amazing shot. Your photos are all beautiful.

  3. bonsoir,

an amazing composition..Beautiful lightness, range of tones..Bravo!

  4. Like this shot a lot, nice and candid, a well captured moment from the hustle and bustle of the Hachiko area.

Thanks for the comment and your advice on candid photos as well. I used to use a Rollieflex a lot and it was great for looking down into the viewfinder whilst the camera was at waistlevel. Don't think I've touched thy camera for three years or so now, real shame, but digital makes life so easy right.
