I hope you are all having a great Christmas and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for visiting my website this year.
I shot the a few days ago, just before Christmas, at Sensoji in Asakusa, Tokyo.
Was out doing a tour for a couple in town from the US.
After sun-down the lights come on at the temple and at the main entrance to the shrine, where people stop and throw in their money and make their prayer, there are a couple of flood-lights... which give you great cross lighting.
Standing just inside and getting a shot out towards where the money gets thrown in is always a good angle.
Catching these ladies in kimono was a nice bonus.
