Autumn still in full swing: Asakusabashi shrine

I was out for a few hours yesterday with one of my photography students, getting her sorted on some composition related items: leading the eye with line, colour, exposure mainly.

This little shrine near Asakusabashi subway station is a spot I haven't been to for a while and one that myself and my student spent some time at yesterday.

Beautiful late flourish of autumn colour here. The ginko leaves seem to have, in most of Tokyo, out-shone the momiji this year.

Gear?

  • Nikon D700
  • 14mm f/2.8
