Tokyo can be a wonderful place in autumn. There are maple trees (momiji) and gingko. There's a wonderful avenue of yellow gingko trees in a part of Tokyo called Gaienmae. It's popular, though. So be prepared for crowds.
I didn't stick around long. As I get older, I have zero tolerance for tourists who behave badly. Sometimes I'll say something but the best thing is usually just to walk away.
So, the day I went there, I pretty much stayed on the side streets and spent time shooting the fallen leaves. The main avenue was just to chocked with people.
But, that didn't give me any less to shoot.... i love shooting the leaves on the ground. And the colour that comes out of this CCD sensor on my Hasselblad is just beautiful.
