Finally getting some time to dig through some more of my shots from the workshop I ran recently in Kyushu and this one of Ayame is the first.
Plus, it's also me rejuvenating the idea of doing a real monthly magazine; something I was talking about a year or so ago. I do a lot of layouts in a magazine style for students and for my own work. It's a great way of seeing them laid out as if for a real publication and when you are learning photography, this is a great way of understanding some more about composition and the requirements of the printed page.
So, from all the recent magazine layouts I have done - of my work and for students - I am going to make a flipping-page magazine and upload it to issuu.com. From that I am going to re-investigate the costs of going into print.
