Bullet train passing through suburbs of Tokyo: Hasselblad HC 300mm lens

This is another one from this evening's session up on my roof.

We're lucky enough to have a view across to the west of town, where the Sanyo Shinkansen heads out on its run down to Yokohama, Nagoya and Osaka.

The mountains in the background are on the far west side of Tokyo.

Damn cold on the roof today.

Keeping the camera still in the wind was a chore.

Love the perspective compression and sharpness on this lens. Awesome piece of glass to play with.

  1. Fantastic shot, +Alfie Goodrich  🙂
Love the sight of the bullet among the buildings in this dreamy light 🙂

  2. Picture perfect..in short "stunning"

  3. What a picture… Simply Superb.

  4. We've been scraping -20C in the mornings around here… I hope it wasn't that cold.
