Drunken man ejected from bar; Omoide-Yokocho, Shinjuku, Tokyo

Myself and some buddies were just finishing up filming some last shots for a music video down in Shinjuku's classic food and drink alley, Omoide-yokocho [Memory Lane], when it all kicked-off at the bar opposite where we had been eating. This customer was being summarily ejected from the place...kept coming back, then was getting ejected again. Quite a scene. Bloody difficult to follow with an f/1.2 manual-focus lens but that's where a motor-driven camera comes in handy: just keep shooting, keep making fine adjustments to the focus whilst you are doing it.

  1. "APPLAUSE"!

It's just great! I saw such scene in Japan but without camera. You are the eye of the situation! Wonderful photo

  2. Wicked shot! Having your camera ready to go is essential (and with you at all times) I guess, although I bet you this guy wasn't going anywhere very quickly.
