I shot this in colour originally but the field of view was so wide and the colour/light difference so great between the far left-hand edge and the far right-hand side of the image, that I ended up putting it into mono. Equalizing the light and colour between such wide panoramas shot at this time of day is a real nightmare. I probably should have paid more attention to it when I shot it or when I belnded the HDRs of each frame in Photomatix. I did try and equalize them but it was hard. Anyway, it looks kinda cool in black and white anyway. Nikon D300 Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 @ f/6.3 7-frame bracketed burst HDR blended in Photomatix Three frames merged into panorama and then converted to mono using Alien Skin filters in Photoshop.
