Landscape photography in Japan: the start of our camping trip at Lake Motosu
Motosu-ko is one of the prettiest lakes in the Fuji-go-ko, or Fuji Five Lakes area. It also has the most awesome campsite in the area. And out of several campsites around the lake, the one we visit every year is the coolest, most relaxed and rule-free.
This year we spent three nights, four days there. Our tent of fifteen years service - which has kept us warm and dry in England, Wales, France and a bunch of other places - finally died during the intense rainstorm on the last night. It's done us well. It's time to get a new one.
I didn't take a lot of shots this year as I spent most of my time cooking, chilling, swimming, snorkelling and hanging with my kids.
But, I shot a few.
