David Peace is a very talented British writer I had the pleasure to meet last year. His book "The Damned United" is released as a film in March and TV-movies have been made of his 'Red Riding Trilogy' of crime books. These are also out in March.
He has lived in Tokyo for some years now,. The first book in his 'Tokyo Trilogy', called 'Tokyo Year Zero' is an excellent read and is joined by a second book this coming July.
I recently shot a series of portraits of him for the British 'Q Magazine'. I can't show you those until February 25th, after the magazine is out. It was my first commission for 'Q', something I am very happy about and hope will lead to more work with them.
These were shot as publicity stills for his publisher, Faber of London.
