Shibuya Crossing at Night with Hasselblad H4D-40

Results of 15mins of fun in the square after a long day. Got a difficult and stressful shoot there later this week. So I've been there a lot recently, figuring things out.

It was nice last night to have a little 'me' time there with the camera.

This is one shot. There are more at the link below.

Hasselblad H4D-40
HC 100mm f/2.2
No Photoshop.

  1. Belleza en la composición de luces y reflejo… Expresiva imagen.

  2. I really like this image, the focused reflections against the diffused background, full of color, typical of Shibuya.

  3. no Photoshop editing? Respect dude;) Value of this kinda snap shots swallowing the Earth.

  4. Love the colors and how clear the taxi driver's reflection is in the mirror and the capture of the people in the window. Captures Tokyo perfectly!

  5. +Stephanie Huynh "Very important shot". For this… you don't need $4000 iPhone. This shot have no point, meaning, visual value at all 😉

  6. +Alfie Goodrich I meant its not art its just one more picture of none? A Car commercial? If you are a journalist, than explanation needed

  7. Still dont know what you mean, +uber aless . That this photo needs a caption, an explanation – to let you know what it is?

  8. Statistically 5 billion photos uploaded on www every day.The idea, the breathless moment captured ,making from an ordinary shot a fine art. Just to show your skills ,and top notch lens is not enough ,bro. I saw masterpieces made with "Holga" plastic camera for $25. Sure Holga can't compete with Hasselblad H4D, but it can produce museum quality artworks, not a spotless cars with amazing depth of field usinga wide open  1.1 F lens. Your skills and High End equipment more suited for commercial use, glamour, portraits…

  9. Thanks, +uber aless. Understood. But I'll decide what suits my skills and gear is just gear. Makes no difference to me, really, what I use.
