Shot 8th April 2012:
Some lovely scenes around Tokyo right now and this street in my neighbourhood - through a park that runs parallel to the railway tracks - never fails to deliver some wonderful blossom and great photo opportunities.
Shot this on my walk to the station the other day. I was on my way to a shoot so I had all the gear on me and took out the 80-200mm for the walk as it's great at isolating subjects from a little bit of a distance, which is useful when you don't really want to interrupt the moment you're shooting.
Gear?
Nikon D700
Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8 ED
Camera set to continuous AF [C] and 51-point 3D AF tracking. The best setup for shooting moving objects.
Shot with a Kodak Portra 160NC film-emulation curve in the camera [basically a picture control made to look like this particular Kodak film]
