Where the streets are sprinkled with stardust: Ginza, Tokyo

At crossroads and intersections not controlled by lights, the roads in Japan have a surface impregnated with little sparkles so drivers can catch them in their lights and see the junction. These two ladies were, it seemed, making some arrangements for the night ahead. The timber in the background was blanking off a shopfront under renovation. This was me, with my trusty 85mm f/1.4 on the D300 with the right-angle viewfinder... down on the road again soaking up the city from the gutter :-)
